Bead Mill Dispersion Alpha Mill DAM Series
Nano-dispersion that preserves particle structure while suppressing re-agglomeration and viscosity rise. Scalable from the benchtop S-DAM to the production DAM-10.
The Dispersion Alpha Mill (DAM series) is a bead mill designed for nano-dispersion while preserving particle structure. [Do any of these sound familiar?] - Over-dispersion breaks primary particles, causing re-agglomeration - Viscosity rises as processing continues - Fines increase and quality becomes unstable - Lab results can't be reproduced on production machines [Why customers choose the DAM series] ■ Stable operation even at high peripheral speeds The specially shaped lower vessel prevents beads from accumulating or clustering. ■ High efficiency even at low peripheral speeds The patented Delta-V disc and agitator blades create a circulating flow that moves beads efficiently. ■ Minimal bead leakage The upper centrifugal separation chamber retains beads as small as φ0.03 mm across a wide range of peripheral speeds. ■ Dispersion that preserves particle structure Suppresses fines generation and viscosity rise for stable, reproducible processing. ■ Easy scale-up Throughput increases roughly in proportion to vessel volume, while particle size trends are maintained.
